Randy Mason is a Raleigh native married to his high school sweetheart, Harris. They have three children Ben, 19, Sussie, 17 and Barnes, 15. He is a member of White Memorial Presbyterian Church, was the 2017 Committee Chair for the Impeesa District for the Boy Scouts of America and assists with the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, NC.
His career started at Coastal Federal Credit Union as a teller and during the next seven years he worked in several departments. These included collections, VISA, student loans and mortgages before returning to the branch as a Consumer Information Officer to assist members with purchasing and leasing vehicles. As his family started to grow he had an opportunity to work for Capital Ford in Raleigh. Over the next 10 years his experience with customers grow through roles in sales, finance, sales management and as General Sales Manager. Even though he really enjoyed working with customers and helping new sales people grow in to managers in his store, and saw several become senior management of other Capital locations, the hours were long. Now the father of three young children he wanted to spend more time with them. Fortunately he was able to transition to a role with the advertising agency for the group. For over 9 years he saw firsthand consumers changing how they receive information, interact with sellers and made decisions. Working with over 200 dealers, multiple manufacturers and dozens of vendors he worked to make the consumer’s experience as engaging as possible. The opportunity to help the staff of the dealership grow in their roles and build their teams is something he enjoyed the most. Randy has now taken these experiences to work with companies to help them look at how they process customer requests, improve how they engage with their customers and staff and how to maximize every lead and opportunity coming into the dealership through traditional and digital sources.
